Otis tardis
Vulnerable
This species, which requires open grasslands and feeds on insects, has suffered rapid population reductions across most of its range owing to the loss, degradation and fragmentation of its habitat due to agricultural intensification, as well as hunting and collision with power lines. The species is also vulnerable to the indiscriminate poisoning of wild birds for trade in China.
