Cinclus schulzii
Vulnerable
This subtly coloured dipper with pale pinky-rufous bib inhabits E. Andean slopes in S. Bolivia and NW Argentina. It requires rivers and streams 5-15 m in width with stable channels, cascades, waterfalls, mid-river rocks, and rocky cliffs or banks. Threats to habitat include hydroelectric and irrigation schemes habitats, pollution, reduced flows and river channel modifications. Luckily, much habitat is protected by its inaccessibility.
